Our small but modern dive center is located at the Santa Barbara Marina. Right under the Boca 19 restaurant.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t have set time schedules like the big dive centers, anything is possible with us. Do you wish to start in the afternoon, or maybe early in the morning? Contact us in advance so we can plan according to your schedule while you\u2019re on holiday.<\/p>\n

Most dive sites are located at the beautiful beaches of Curacao. If you want to stay at the beach after the dive then this is possible as well. You can then drive behind us with your own transport. Bauer Compressor<\/h2>\n

Our dive center has their own modern filling station. With our Bauer Compressor we can fill up 4 tanks simultaneously The compressor has an extra big filter which is replaced regularly, clean breathing air is guaranteed. We also fill tanks for divers with their own tanks. We will always check the date of latest pressure test. This needs to be within 5 years according to the regulations.<\/p>\n

Tanks<\/h2>\n

All our tanks are periodically checked and pressure tested. We have the standard 12 liter tanks as well as 10 liter and even 7 liter. The 10 and 7 liter we use for diving with children because the tanks are lighter. All our tanks can be used with a DIN or INT (yoke) regulator.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Regulators <\/h3>\n

We use regulators from brands as Scubapro, Apeks and Mares. Top regulator is the Scubapro MK21 with the S600 as second stage. Experience diving with one of the best regulators on the market. We have regulators in DIN as INT (yoke). ) In the course we will go over the difference between these two connections and you can experience it for yourself. We have gauges in PSI and in BAR. All our regulators are checked and maintained regularly by certified technicians. We never save on maintenance on any of our equipment. <\/p>\n

BCD\u2019s<\/h3>\n

All our BCD\u2019s are from TUSA and Scubapro and are brand new. All the BCD\u2019s have integrated weight pockets. In the first lesson we will find out together the exact weight you need to dive. We use soft lead instead of chunky hard lead which makes it very comfortable to dive.\n<\/p>\n

Masks<\/h3>\n

A bad fitted (often cheap) mask can ruin a dive! With us you only dive with a mask of the same quality as the instructor. We have multiple masks available for you to try out. We have several Scubapro and TUSA masks in different colors so there\u2019s always one that will fit you perfectly.<\/p>\n

Wetsuits <\/h3>\n

The temperature of the waters of Curacao varies between 77 Fahrenheit (25 degrees) in February to 86 Fahrenheit (30 degrees) in September. For some people is a 2.5mm shorty in 77 Fahrenheit enough and for some it will get cold after 20 minutes. We have several Mares Thermoguards available to wear under your shorty. If this is still too cold then we also have full wetsuits available. We believe a dive should not be cut short because it\u2019s too cold.<\/p>\n

Boots \/ fins <\/h3>\n

Although almost all dive sites on Curacao are easily reachable from shore but when we have to walk over a few stones and rocks we prefer to dive with good fitted 3mm boots. This makes it easier to walk in while wearing your full scuba gear. All our fins are from Mares with an easy strap to put them on in the water.<\/p>\n

Our dive lights are from Scubapro. We have the Nova 700 and Nova 720. We have narrow and wide lights. When you\u2019re doing your PADI Advanced Open Water course you will experience the difference between these 2 lights during an exciting night dive! With the strength of the 700 lumen you will be surprised how much you will see during a night dive! <\/p>\n

Dive computers<\/h3>\n

The Mares Puck dive computer shows everything you need whilst underwater. The depth, total dive time and the NDL limits. During your PADI Open Water course we teach you how to use the computer. Do you already have your own dive computer? Feel free to bring it with you so we can explain all the features. <\/p>\n

Compass<\/h3>\n

The Suunto SK-8 is a wrist compass which is considered the best compass available on the market today.<\/p>\n

Hygiene<\/h3>\n

A thorough cleaning of all dive equipment is never skipped. A bit of Dettol will keep everything fresh and hygienic. During your PADI Open Water course we teach you to clean all your own dive gear properly. <\/p>\n
